Ketchup

Don't worry guys, I totally know how to spell...its just a joke. As you can see...its that time again! Catch up time! Here is what we have been up to the last month or so.

Matt thinks this is funny. Me wrapped in a giant body pillow lying on the floor and watching a movie on his computer, sideways. I'll do anything to get comfortable!

Look what we did! A few Saturdays ago we decided we were tired of looking at our crib in a box. 2 hours later and 150ish parts later, this was what we got. Can’t wait until we can put our little boy inside of it!
Swimming with my girlfriends is pretty much the best way to beat the heat these days.
For the 24th of July we had our annual get together at my brother Eric’s place. The night was complete with delicious food, watching the kids play with sparklers and the big kids play with other fireworks, and then a spectacular show put on by the neighborhood just west of Eric’s house. I’m telling you, its as good as any city show, its free, and we get to stay on the comfort of the front lawn and miss all the crowds.

My sister Rachelle invited me to her kiddos last dance class. It was adorable, and yes, even made me cry at one point. Hey, back off! I’m pregnant, which I feel is a fair excuse for crying about everything, right?

This year’s family vacation was spontaneous and so much fun. We were supposed to go camping up American Fork canyon, but at the last minute, every campsite was full. We decided to drive towards the Uintahs hoping we would find something good. We did find a great campsite up at Soapstone. The only downside was that it was too far for Megan, Justin, Matt and Aaron to come, and we really missed them.

Thursday we got all our tents set up and had a yummy dinner of tacos. On Friday we drove up to Mirror Lake. I couldn’t believe how cold it was up there in August! It was a pretty windy day. We then headed down to provo falls which were absolutely gorgeous and ended up spending a lot of time just playing in the water. The kids especially loved it! On Saturday we spent some time just playing in the cool river by our campsite and then headed home. It was a great vacation. Thanks again to Eric and Heidi for planning it all!

The Sunday after we got back Stockton was blessed. He was a handsome little guy in Justin’s old blessing outfit. The food after was soooo good and I ate so much and was miraculously able to go straight to Matt’s parents after and eat a second dinner…yum!

Last week my best friend Lauren threw me a baby shower with some of my oldest and dearest friends. We had lots of fun talking, eating, tying a gorgeous quilt Lauren made for baby boy, and of course opening lots of fun presents. Thanks to all who came, you guys are the best!

Last Monday my family met up for our monthly family home evening. We found a nice little spot up Big Cottonwood Canyon and enjoyed roasting hot dogs and later marshmallows, singing, and playing in the stream.

This weekend we met up with the sensational 6 again. Ryan and Nikki are leaving this week to move to Pennsylvania. We are going to miss them so much. We missed Bryan, James, and Allison but it was definitely fun to get together with everybody else to eat, chat, and play some games. Good luck in Pennsylvania you guys! We hope to see you again really soon!

Next, we know we haven’t been too good about pictures lately, but here is a picture at 34 weeks for anyone interested. Yes, that is right…only 6 weeks left! We can hardly wait!

And since I have written this post, a few more weeks have passed...oops. Now we have about 3 weeks left! Crazy!

A couple of weeks ago my sisters gave me another baby shower with some friends and family and we had a great time!
