Thanksgiving and The Christmas Tree!

We spent this Thanksgiving with my family at my parents' house.  The weather was nice, so the kids were able to play outside.  The cousins all had an awesome day playing together (except we missed Aaron and Rachelle and their kiddos).  I was pampered by everyone and didn't really have to do much of anything...thanks fam.

The day after Thanksgiving we also had Thanksgiving with Matt's family-and unfortunately have no pictures.  Ric and Nancy made a perfect dinner, I got a nice nap, and we played a wicked game of foosball.  Thanks for a fun day!

Finally, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, we had a little Thanksgiving get-together with the sensational 6.  Again...no pictures, but we had a great time catching up.  We are so thankful for our awesome friends and family.  We are very very blessed.

On Sunday we put up our tree and Christmas decorations.  Matt has another business trip coming up, and I knew if I didn't have him around, Christmas decor might be a no-go this year, so we decided to get it done earlier than later.  The kids are so cute with the decorations.  That day and the day after they spent all their time in the living room just looking at (and trying soooo hard not to touch) the decorations.  What a fun season!

Matt's Birthday

Matt turned 29 this past November.  Whoa!  29!  It seems like we were just in highschool!  Since I'm not up to doing much right now, it was a really low key birthday.  I felt pretty bad about it, but Matt is the best and just went with the flow.  He made his own birthday pizza and cake and we had a little kitchen dance party and a movie.  The kids thought it was fun to celebrate Dad.  Happy birthday Matt!  I promise next year will be 10 times better!

Fall and Halloween

A nice kick-off to this fall was that my dear friend Shyla got married!  It was a beautiful wedding! We also tried to get out and enjoy the beautiful leaves.
Halloween was lots of fun.  We went to Matt's office, a ward party, a carnival at scouts, Gardner Village with Grandma, and trick-or-treating around our neighborhood.  The boys were adorable little dragons and had to "Rawr!" at everybody. Holidays are so much fun with kids!  My pictures in this post got all mixed up for some reason, but somewhere down there is a picture of Cam with a giant goose egg.  That is how we ended Halloween night.  He was so hyper, and while playing around in the bathroom, he smacked into the edge of the tub...hardcore.  Poor kid.  The bump is still there...6 weeks later.  Yowza!

When Dad's Away...Again

Matt had to go out of town again for his cousin's wedding in October, so we spent another fun weekend at Grandma April's house!  We got to go to Cornbelly (known to Cam as Bellycorn's) with Eric and Heidi and their family, and we had a blast.  Grandma baked cookies with the boys, and the boys got in a lot of good playing!
