So...maybe it was 5 months ago now, but our little Cameron turned 3! I'm looking at the pictures from his birthday and realizing, that now, just a few short months later, he already looks so much bigger and more grown up. Time seems to fly by!
Cam celebrated his birthday morning by opening a whole bunch of Thomas the Train stuff: trains, Tidmouth sheds, tracks...etc. It was actually a little overwhelming for him. Our doctor told us this summer that Cameron has a bit of an anxiety disorder, and a little OCD. No wonder he has been so hard for us! But seriously, it was a good thing to learn. The more we learn and work with him, the more we are understanding the situations that can trigger the anxiety (aka birthdays, holidays, other days that are important and special) and how to deal with it.
Anyway, he spent the morning in a daze, but over the next few days played with everything like crazy. We also got to celebrate with the Grandmas and Grandpas and a couple uncles. He had an awesome birthday!
At 3, Cam goes to joy school with a couple of his friends, he LOVES trains, planes, cars, trucks, buses, fire trucks, and anything else that moves. He goes to primary now too, which is kind of difficult for him, but we know he'll love it soon. He plays with Riley a lot more that he used to, which I am loving, and he loves to help around the house. Cam is a super picky eater, and lives mostly off of pb&h, pb&j, cheese roll-ups, yogurt and fruit. He doesn't nap anymore (sniffle) and he seems to have endless energy, like any 3 year old. He can be super stubborn, but he is a sweetheart too. We love you Cam Man!
