I know this is late, but...Happy Pioneer Day!

We had a pretty fun Pioneer day this year. I ended up not having to work and Matt was able to take it off. In the morning we went to the 24th of July parade with our ward. Since I grew up in Utah I have seen the parade many times and it becomes a little common place. This was the first year Matt has seen the parade, and he was just like a kid. He wouldn't sit by me because he didn't want to miss anything. He says that he grew up watching parades with his family and so he really enjoys them.

Later that night we met up with my family for a BBQ and some great fireworks. The big hit of the night seemed to be the princess slip n' slide, not for the kids...but for the adults. It was a hoot to watch Matt, Eric, Brett, and Justin racing down the slide meant for 4 year olds. The fireworks were fun, all of the kids except Tiana were pretty scared by them. The big fireworks show was awesome, and everybody seemed to be okay with that one. Thanks Eric and Heidi for having us over, we had a great time!
