Our Cam Man

Many of you know that Cameron has a few social issues that we have been working on.  He started school at a little community preschool, and struggled.  We started seeing a new therapist, got him officially diagnosed with anxiety, and we have seen some real improvements since we started working with her.
We took him out of the community school and were able to get him into a special preschool for kids with emotional disorders.  He LOVES it!  He goes everyday, takes a lunch, and rides a bus there and back.  He feels like such a little grown-up.  Me?  I miss my baby, but the time alone with Riley is nice and I love seeing Cameron become more outgoing in social situations.  In our primary program a couple of weeks ago, Cam got up and said his part clearly without any trouble. He also sang and participated.  For Cameron, that was a huge achievement.  We were so proud of him.  He is getting so much better at dealing with other people, and kids especially.  We still have a lot of things we are working on, but we feel so grateful to have gotten him into this school.  We love our little man!
He also celebrated his 4th birthday in September.  It was so fun to see him feel so awesome about having his own special day.  He was mesmerized by his cake (in fact, we probably shouldn't have wasted money on gifts...a cake would have been plenty!)  We had a little party with my parents and brother, and got to see Matt's Mom the next day too.  It was definitely a special week!

Cam's first day on the bus!

When Dad is Away

Matt went on a trip in September with my brothers and Dad to yellowstone.  He had loads of fun, but we didn't want to be left out here at home!  We went and stayed with my Mom.  We got to go to the library, up the canyon, to the splash pad with our cousins, and out to dinner.  It was a fun weekend!

When Dad came home, he brought these awesome hats!  For awhile we didn't go anywhere without the hats.  We had lots of fun, but we were sure glad when Dad came home!

San Diego

I think it's time to update this blog before baby #3 gets here and I don't have much free time anymore.  Currently I have, well....LOADS of free time.  This pregnancy has been rough, to say the least.  The nerve damage combined with the PGD and PSD I have make pregnancy really painful.  I also have to go off my nerve medications while I'm pregnant.  And this time we are trying to avoid another preterm birth.  So...basically I'm not on bedrest, just on "do as little as possible" rest.  I have pain pretty much 24/7 and it limits what I'm able to do here at home.  We have learned how to cope, most of the time, but its been hard.  I'm looking forward to getting baby boy #3 safe and sound (and on time) and then getting back to feeling like a human again.  Yay!

In August we took a much needed vacation to San Diego.  Matt has family there, so we were able to visit them, and also do a lot of things with just our little family--it was awesome.  The trip was hard for me because of all the pain issues, but we were able to get a disability pass that helped out a lot, and most of all it worked because Matt was awesome.  He took care of the boys, lugged bags, pushed the stroller...basically anything hard.  He is a stud.

A day at the beach.  The boys probably loved this most of all, and got horribly sunburned, despite how many times I put sunscreen on them.

So happy after a fun day at the beach...
 ...and sooo tired.
Matt and I were able to go out one night and take a harbor dinner cruise.  It was so beautiful, and the food was awesome!

A 2nd stab at the Zoo, since the 1st day didn't go so well.

 A drive past the temple-gorgeous!
Unfortunately, Riley was busy conducting meetings for most of the week.  At least he was able to spend a little time with us.
